2014 Jeep Wrangler review and price

The legendary jeep Wrangler come back for 2014 without any significant changes. Given a thorough upgrade just two decades ago, the two-door 2014 Wrangler and four-door 2014 Wrangler unlimited are two factory-ready off-roaders prepared with standard four-wheel drive. Both 2014 Wranglers are operated by Chrysler's 3.6-liter "Pentastar" V-6, which creates 285 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque.

A six-speed manual shift is standard, while a five-speed automated is an optionally available additional. The 2014 Wrangler is EPA ranked at 17/21 mpg city/highway no issue the transmitting, while the 2014 Wrangler unlimited is ranked 16/21 mpg with the manual, or 16/20 mpg with the automatic. The 2014 Wrangler collection comes standard with a foldable soft-top, though a top quality soft-top, and detachable difficult covers are available.

Two-door Jeep Wrangler and four-door Wrangler unlimited versions are offered, and both are and far more comfortable than in the last, or than you'd think. Either provides a option of smooth or hard tops, and either top can appropriately be known as one of the Jeep's best functions. Though they allow lots of road noise in the cabin, they can absolutely start the cabin of both the two- and four-door designs, switching a hardtop Jeep into a sports convertible SUV.

When you don't mind a little turbulence and wind in your hair, with the top removed (and even in some low-speed situations, the windshield folded down) the Wrangler can hit the spot, bringing the emotions of a convertible into a very capaable off-roader. Jeep has enhanced its smooth top style, creating it much simpler to use, but it's still a complex, multi-hand function.

The Jeep Wrangler has a platform price of about $24,000, but those platform costs can be deceiving, as Sahara and Rubicon designs price cost thousands more, and you'll want several choices to make the off-road package (and appearance) complete. At the top end, Rubicon model can successfully pass $40k--a price that could create a little anxiety if you're advancing out to scrape against rocks and sweep.
